WHAT PROMPTED YOUR INTEREST IN THIS PROFESSION?
While growing up, I never imagined or had aspirations to become an insurance sales agent. I was very involved in my parents’ horse and cattle ranch, but life happens, and I needed to find other opportunities. So, as it happens with so many of us, this career was placed in front of me, and I have never looked back.
WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY?
Years ago, a fellow agent made this comment to me, “Take care of your customers, and they will take care of you.” This statement has guided me for decades. Later, I developed an acronym for my customer service philosophy: Courteous, Convenient, Fast, and Accurate — C.C.F.A.!
WHAT MAKES YOU AND YOUR COMPANY STAND OUT FROM YOUR COMPETITION?
HOW DOES YOUR PROFESSION BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY?
We all know that it is easy to complain about insurance companies, in general, and even their agents. But the next time you hear of a terrible accident, house or apartment fire, or even a tornado, remember that most likely an insurance company is sending a lot of money that way intending to restore lives. My profession brings financial security to our community.
WHAT KIND OF CHARITY INVOLVEMENT DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN?
I love to contribute back to our community, which has been so good to my family. We have so many great non-profit organizations to choose from. We have been involved with several recently: Special Learning Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Vitae, and Hope for Caribbean Kids.
