Tina’s Third Update

Tina.

Age: 36

Occupation: Photographer

How did you work with your trainer over the stay-at-home order? I was still able to do some one-on-one with Nick during the stay-at-home order. I was also able to participate in social distance group workouts outside. Being able to still participate in training and group workouts was huge for me to stay on track and stay motivated.

Did your workouts change at all? The only change in my workouts during the quarantine was that I wasn’t able to go into the studio as often as before. I was actually able to get more runs around my neighborhood and take my kids for bike rides. I was creative with how I got my exercise in.

Did you use items around the house, or were you able to borrow equipment? I have some equipment at home that I would use for resistance training, but I really focused more on outdoor cardio workouts like running, walking, and bike riding.

How often did you join virtual workouts? I really only joined the virtual yoga workouts to make sure I was stretching. I have a few home workout videos that I would incorporate from time to time as well.

Did your trainer give you any suggestions on how to keep from snacking at home? Nick was great at educating me on healthy snacking. But honestly, I tried to spend most of my time outside to stay away from the kitchen.
