Steve’s Pest Control: The Faces of Solving Your Pest Problem
Newly married and with a young family, Steve and Anita Hotsenpiller started Steve’s Pest Control in June of 1988. Our service vehicles looked a little different than the red trucks you see today. It all started out of a green Camaro and a passion for taking care of customers. Since then, our problem-solving abilities have kept us in the pest control business for almost 36 years and counting. Now, in 2024, our team has grown to almost 100 members, and we have over 90 red service vehicles. We are still very much a family affair, with Steve and Anita being very active in the business alongside their children, Jared Hotsenpiller and Megan Jacobson. At Steve’s Pest Control, we have a combined total of over 620 years of experience. Most of our service technicians, service advisors, management team, and the owners are certified operators in general termite removal and pest control. Some of these employees are certified in turf and ornamental maintenance and public health as well. Megan also utilizes her skills as Missouri’s only female associate certified entomologist (ACE) to help determine the best treatments for pest issues.
