WHAT IS YOUR AREA OF EXPERTISE?

The care of patients and their families with internal medicine and cardiovascular health problems, especially coronary artery disease and heart failure.

WHAT PROMPTED YOUR INTEREST IN THIS PROFESSION?

My father was a family physician and general surgeon, my mother was his nurse. They taught me that there is no greater honor or privilege than caring for a person’s health.

WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY?

The patient and his/her family are your most important focus. If you provide them the best possible care, the “business” will take care of itself.

WHAT MAKES YOU AND YOUR COMPANY STAND OUT FROM YOUR COMPETITION?

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital provides patients and their families the best possible care with the healing presence of God.

HOW DOES YOUR PROFESSION BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY?

By providing best practices in internal medicine and cardiovascular care here in Jeff City, patients and their families can have “state of the art care” close to home.

WHAT KIND OF CHARITY INVOLVEMENT DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN?

My charity involvement is centered on my parish church, Immaculate Conception Church and its involvement with the Samaritan Center.

The challenge of using examination skills without investigations to identify various heart defects in children.

WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY?

To practice ethical, evidence-based medicine, keep patient’s best interests above all and try to live up to their trust and expectations

WHAT MAKES YOU AND YOUR COMPANY STAND OUT FROM YOUR COMPETITION?

The values and mission of SSM Health.

Cardiovascular diseases are still a leading cause of death in America. With improvements in diagnosis and treatment over the last several decades, we have achieved significant improvements in outcomes leading to better quality of life for patients suffering from these diseases.

WHAT KIND OF CHARITY INVOLVEMENT DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN?

I have been involved with some charitable organizations in India taking care of elderly people without social or family support and charitable hospitals that perform cataract surgeries. I also have a goal of contributing to the education of children who lack resources in developing countries.
