1. The Village Art Studio Welcomes Class Art Creations and An Expansion
The Village Art Studio adds a second studio and welcomes a new artist, Andy Cleeton. With classes in demand, the group needed more space and has expanded into two studios. Ann DeRosier and Cleeton remain in the original studio in suite 40 and offer glass and clay works. DeRosier offers clay hand building and pottery. Cleeton is a fused-glass artist who teaches classes for glass ornaments, bowls, votives and other decorative items. Artists Cindy Schnieders and Charlotte Middleton offer canvas painting and mixed medium and are in the new studio at suite 60. 2. The Blue Skillet
When mid-Missouri winter is getting you down, look no further for comfort than a new soul-food restaurant that has come to town. Phillippia “Fefe” Rome jumped at the opportunity to move here from Columbus, Georgia and achieve her dream of opening a restaurant. Now, along with a small staff, she is bringing classic southern cooking to the heart of Missouri. On the menu you will find fried chicken, candied ham, okra and macaroni and cheese along with other warm, country dishes. Everything is made daily and fresh, so this is as close to homemade as you can get without making a mess of your own kitchen.

4. Loving Hands Massage
Owner, Doris Guillory, offers intuitive massage using several different modalities that she has learned through many years in the business.
