There are a plethora of options when it comes to shopping, dining, living, or even simply visiting the north Jefferson City area and its surrounding communities. I want to share with you a couple of my favorite key locations that you really must visit while you’re in town!

Breakfast:

Start your morning with CameroN’s Country Cafe. Family owned and operated, they have all your country-style favorites at great prices!

Morning activity:

Hit the largest public driving range in Jefferson City, play a round of putt-putt, or choose to play two 9-hole, par-3 courses at Turkey Creek Golf Center. You can also enjoy a round of golf at Railwood Golf Club.

Lunch:

Stop into Blu Taco to try their burritos, quesadillas, salads, bowls, and of course their blue corn tacos and nachos.

Afternoon Activity:

Visit Fisher Farms (they are open seasonally). Take in the beautiful sites at the Quigg Commons. If you’re looking for an indoor activity, shop at Dis-N-Dat Antiques.

Snack:

Grab a couple of appetizers or split a small pizza from Pizza Works.

Evening Activity:

Take a stroll on the Katy Trail, or visit the North Jefferson City Recreation Area, including the Noren River Access, for more family-friendly fun! And be sure to time your visit just right to take in the Missouri River Pedestrian Bike Bridge’s breathtaking view as you watch the mid-western sunset over the Missouri River.

Dinner:

One thing you must try is Canterbury Hill Winery and Restaurant! Savor your meal with a gorgeous view on their back patio or cozy up next to their fireplace.

Nightlife:

Enjoy dessert at Mellby’s Chill Zone with some ice cream or a snow cone.
