The Norton Room

Westphalia Vineyards’ new tasting room, the Norton Room, is now open. The tasting room is located in an old grocery store that used to belong to owner Mary Neuner’s grandfather. She and her husband, Terry, run Westphalia Vineyards, which produces 10 signature wines available for tastings.

Starbucks

The first ever freestanding Starbucks in Jefferson City will open this spring, located across from the Old St. Mary’s Hospital. The location will have a drive-thru so patrons can enjoy their favorite coffee or tea without leaving the comfort of their car.

A-1 Party and Event Rental

Columbia-based company A-1 Party and Event Rental is opening a third location in Jefferson City. A-1 will be celebrating its grand opening on March 16 at its new showroom, which was previously home to Central Missouri Tire.

The Branch

The LOMO Club officially re-opened this New Year’s Eve as a wedding and event space. The club was re-branded as The Branch by Jefferson City locals Krista Bonnot and Justin Davis, who updated the event hall, bar area, and two-bedroom apartment, which can be rented as a bridal suite.

Jefferson City VA Clinic

Jefferson City’s new Veterans Affairs clinic opened this January. The clinic is larger than past clinics so it can accommodate more patients, and the location will offer new services such as eye care, women’s health services, and podiatry. This will allow more patients to stay local when receiving treatment rather than commuting to Columbia.
