MRA Construction
The Faces of Home Renovation

I started MRA Construction in 2010. I, Matt Allen, have been around construction my entire life. My dad was an architect who designed projects around the state, and I remember going with him to jobs and seeing how awesome the structures were before people could see the finished product. I remember thinking how cool it would be to build something like that. When I first started in this business, I began with installing gutters, roofs, siding, decks, windows, etc; with my knowledge of construction, I continued to broaden my scope of work. Eventually, we began remodeling bathrooms and kitchens, and now we work with full house renovations, additions, and custom homes.

We are a one-stop shop for anything because most of the other companies don’t have the resources we have here at MRA. We have a project manager who oversees day-to-day work, making sure everything runs as smoothly as it can while communicating with our customers about changes, scheduling, etc. We also know how difficult renovation and addition projects can be. Recently, we have hired an interior designer to help give customers a more efficient, organized, and helpful visualization of the end product while providing mood boards, plans, and renderings of future products.

My passion for construction hasn’t changed since I was a kid, and I love watching a project transform right in front of my eyes. I get to remember what these projects looked like before we arrived and then see what it looks like when we are done. If I sit back and say, “Wow, that turned out great,” then I know everyone on our team, from myself all the way down to our crew and subs, did a great job. Here at MRA Construction, we strive to offer quality work while treating our customers and their homes with respect. It’s never easy to live in the work zone, but we try to accommodate our customers to make the transition as smooth and quick as possible.

MRA Construction continues to grow and expand every day, and I hope we will continue to produce quality workmanship for years to come. I plan to work in this business for a long time, and I hope that someday my sons will develop interest as well. If not, that’s ok too. I just wish for them to have the drive and passion I developed as a kid and still have today.
