Michael Huber:
The Face of IT Solutions

I grew up around family businesses. My uncle, Dr. Steven Huber, had an orthodontics practice, and my parents, Jim and Elizabeth Huber, built a technology business.  

Initially, I was more interested in becoming an orthodontist, but after interning at Huber & Associates, I became interested in technology and decided to pursue an engineering degree. After graduating from the University of Missouri, I moved to Kansas City to gain technology experience by working for several Fortune 1000 companies as a professional services consultant, IT project manager, and cloud systems analyst. Those roles helped me prepare for an executive role in the high-tech world of information technology. 

Upon my return to Jefferson City, I joined Huber & Associates as the director of business development. I later became the director of sales; and, most recently, I was promoted to chief operating officer. 

 I am extremely proud to carry on the culture that my parents created at Huber & Associates. Huber & Associates is a family-friendly, high-tech company providing computer products and services to clients in the United States and Canada for almost 40 years. The company’s purpose is to have a hero’s impact on clients’ lives and the community through our expertise in computer systems, support, and programming services. These services are delivered by amazing people with caring attitudes and generous hearts. 

I strive to uphold these high standards and embody Huber’s core values when making decisions for the company. My guiding lights are the incredible people on my team. I love that they have such a high average tenure at Huber, and I’m honored to lead such a great group of people. The Huber family has always viewed owning a business and employing people as a great privilege and responsibility. 

My vision for Huber is to build and expand on the growth and success at Huber & Associates by driving innovation and enhancing our client services to position us for a bright future. Having the honor of continuing my parents’ legacy of building, maintaining, and growing such an incredible company that is dedicated to supporting its clients, staff, and community in such a passionate manner is something that I take very seriously. I am extremely grateful. 

Michael Huber, a University of Missouri industrial engineering graduate, has a decade of IT experience as a consultant, analyst, and project manager. Joining team Huber in 2020, he transitioned from director of business development to director of sales, and now he serves as chief operating officer, focused on emerging technologies and business efficiencies.
