Kick off summer with simple, delicious
treats the whole family can enjoy together.
1. No-Bake Cookie Balls
Ingredients
2 cups oats | 1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey | 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Mix everything in a bowl.
Roll into 15-20 small balls.
Chill in the fridge (if you can wait!).
2. DIY Fruit Pops
Ingredients
1 cup juice or yogurt
1/2 cup chopped fruit
3-4 six ounce cups
popsicle sticks
Instructions
Add fruit evenly to each cup until all of it is used.
Pour ¼-⅓ cup juice or yogurt per cup, filling about ¾ full.
Stir gently to distribute fruit.
Place a popsicle stick in the center of each cup.
Freeze overnight.
Note: Makes 3-4 small pops
3. Banana Split Bites
Ingredients
1 banana
1/2 cup yogurt
sprinkles
berries
Instruction
Slice the banana into pieces.
Spoon the yogurt over the bananas.
Add sprinkles and berries.
4. Homemade Ice Cream
Ingredients
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4-5 cups ice
1/2 cup salt
1 small zip-top bag
1 large zip-top bag
Instructions
Add milk, sugar, and vanilla to the small bag.
Seal it tightly, and then place it inside a large bag filled with ice and salt.
Shake for 5-10 minutes (This is the fun part!).
If it’s still too soft, keep shaking or place it in the freezer until it reaches your desired consistency.
