Jefferson Bank Leadership: 2018 City Men
WHAT PROMPTED YOUR INTEREST IN THIS PROFESSION?
Ken: When I graduated from college I was broke and needed a job.
Roger: I had a small paper route at a very early age and realized I liked interacting with people and learning the fundamentals of money.
WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY?
Chris: We are in a service industry. When I serve my staff and co-workers and get out of their way, they’ll serve our customers.
R: Guiding customers to the best possible solutions to meet their current financial needs while creating the most positive impact on longer term goals.
WHAT MAKES YOU AND JEFFERSON BANK STAND OUT FROM YOUR COMPETITION?
K: Most financial institutions specialize in one or two key areas. At Jefferson Bank, we have been able to excel in various niches, which truly makes us a one-stop shop for our customers.
Bob: At Jefferson Bank, we truly are a family of community bankers who work hard to do the right things for both our customers and the communities in which we live.
HOW DOES YOUR PROFESSION BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY?
B: Community Banks are the backbone of our country. We are here to serve the people and businesses of our communities. Whether you are saving for retirement, college education, or an emergency fund, we are here to help.
WHAT KIND OF CHARITY INVOLVEMENT DO YOU AND/OR JEFFERSON CITY BANK PARTICIPATE IN?
K: Our bank strongly encourages community involvement. If there is something happening around here, you can bet we are in the middle of it.
B: I currently serve on the Salvation Army Advisory Board. The Salvation Army is a United Way agency. I am also a member of Concord Baptist Church.
C: Because we are a community bank, we support everything from little league teams to veterans groups. For the most part, if there is a charity that benefits Mid-Missouri, Jefferson Bank and/or I will be involved in it in some aspect.
