Unity Park at Heisinger Bluffs has a safe and serene atmosphere, cared for by staff who will treat you like family. Our staff are specially trained to cue, guide, and assist with daily routines.
Every person with dementia is different and has individual needs. Trust that our staff will make the transition as easy as possible. Daily routines include all meals and snacks, exercise, spiritual programs, cognitive empowering activities, and on-site nursing care if needed.
Memory care is designed for those who are still mobile and may wander throughout the day. For those who need reminders and hands-on assistance to complete daily skills, such as hygiene, meals, and socialization, we are here to help. We provide a secure, safe, and peaceful environment where residents can be whoever they are today, tomorrow, or who they were in the past.
In spring and summer, we enjoy planting various fruits and vegetables in our courtyard garden. On occasion, you may find us sipping shakes at Central Dairy or knocking down pins at Strikers. Community guests such as Catalpa Wellness and Mars the champ dog are welcome in our house any time! And whenever a loved one wants to be alone for a moment, there are always books, puzzles, games, and movies to choose from.

Thankfully, we have resources in Jefferson City to help start that journey and better understand dementia. By teaming up with the Mid-Missouri Alzheimer’s Association Chapter and Aging Best, we can help you make a plan before it’s even needed!
