Capital Bluffs Event Center
Since opening its doors in 2018, Capital Bluffs Event Center has quickly made a name for itself as a premier space for gatherings. Weddings, reunions, fundraisers, and company parties have all been held inside the venue, which is decked out with a mix of natural tones and textures. From wide doors that make it easier to set up events to a spacious kitchen and optional catering packages, owners Danny Baumgartner and Donna Kolb created the building with customers in mind.
“We get a lot of positive feedback,” Danny Baumgartner says. “It’s neat meeting so many different customers and people I would never meet before, learning about them and their business and their families.”
Ignite Fitness and Performance
Chad Chrisman describes Ignite Fitness and Performance as a functional training facility. Chrisman, co-owner of Ignite, says their workouts are based on performance and how fitness movement patterns can be used in day-to-day activities, including manual labor jobs, indoor and outdoor activities, or sports. Ignite offers group classes, personal training, nutrition assistance, and other services.
“We heavily concentrate on developing foundational movement patterns so that we can feel better in our daily lives,” Chad Chrisman says. “Good movement is a big key to good health. Our goal is to teach people healthy habits that they can use all of the time and do things they never thought they could do.”
