
Matt Young has been appointed executive chef for Spectators Sports Bar and Billiards as well as BJ’s Restaurant and Lounge. Young has 12 years of experience in the culinary arts and has been working at Spectators for five years.

Angelia Etter is now general and regional manager for The Pizza Company, The Office Bar, Spectators Sports Bar and Billiards, and BJ’s Restaurant and Lounge. Etter has 25 years of restaurant and bar experience, including management. She is welcomed back, as she previously worked at Spectators for eight years.

Faith Prenger has been promoted to general and regional manager for Spectators Sports Bar and Billiards, The Office Bar, The Pizza Company, and BJ’s Restaurant and Lounge. She has worked for Spectators for 19 years.

Scot Drinkard, owner of Spectators Sports Bar, The Office Bar, Money Matters, and Drinkard Landscaping, and co-owner of The Pizza Company, is growing his business portfolio by purchasing BJ’s Restaurant and Lounge in Linn. He will take over the business in March and hopes to expand in the future by adding another entity, BJ’s Sports Bar, as well.

Molly Omohundro, NP, has joined Express Care West to treat minor illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis. Omohundro attended William Jewell College in Liberty and completed her training at Maryville University in St. Louis. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

JCMG has welcomed Jennifer Patrick as a licensed clinical social worker. She offers individual, couple, group, and family therapy for children, teenagers, and adults. Patrick obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from William Woods University and her master’s in social work from MU. Patrick works with patients to treat matters including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, relationship concerns, self-harm, substance abuse/addiction, anger management, grief and loss, ADHD, and eating disorders.

Van Camp Law Firm recently announced that Tammy S. Kearns has become an equity member of the firm. The focus of her practice is workers’ compensation, specifically helping injured workers. Kearns graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law before becoming licensed to practice law in 2010. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, Cole County Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Women Lawyers’ Association of Mid-Missouri, and Women United.

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital has been granted an additional three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission in echocardiography in the area of adult transthoracic examination. Echocardiography is used to assess different areas of the heart and can detect heart disease or signs of serious conditions. The accreditation indicates that the hospital has undergone an application and review process and is found to be in compliance with the published standards.

Jefferson City Area YMCA is celebrating 50 years of operation in 2020. The YMCA is an association of persons of all ages, ethnic groups, and religious affiliations dedicated to putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Former Boy Scout executive and nonprofit leader Doug Callahan has joined the Vitae Foundation. As director of development, Callahan will oversee a development team that annually raises millions of dollars to fund research, digital marketing strategies, and educational materials to help advance pro-life cultural efforts.

Regena Heisner, RN, is her hospital’s first two-time recipient of the DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses. Heisner was first recognized with the award in March 2019 and then again on February 1, 2020. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the superhuman efforts nurses perform every day. Heisner is a registered nurse at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mandy Thomas, area account representative at C&S Business Services Inc., was recently recognized for 10 years of service. Thomas assists C&S staffing specialists with recruiting and screening applicants and helps with C&S marketing efforts.
