Midwest Special Needs Trust (MSNT), which serves in the Central Missouri and Jefferson City areas, has selected Bianca Farr as the new executive director. MSNT is a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation authorized by Missouri statute to administer special needs trusts for individuals with disabilities. Delta Dental of Missouri recently awarded $100,000 to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services – Office of Dental Health to develop a dental assistant pilot program in high school career centers, enabling high school juniors and seniors to earn a dental assistant certificate and advance to earn expanded function dental assistant certificates. Delta Dental also awarded $99,998 to the Missouri Primary Care Association to create a dental assistant training program in four rural federally qualified health centers and develop resources to promote oral health careers to high school students.
