What is your product or service?
Installing 5” and 6” gutters, open and closed cell insulation, and blow-in insulation.

When and how did you get into this industry?
In 2018, I started working for Gerlach Construction. He had a gutter machine when the hail storm hit in 2020. I bought the machine from him and started offering gutter installation services. Then, we added insulation services in 2021.

What factors should someone consider when they’re deciding between open and closed cell insulation vs. blow-in insulation?
It depends on your house. If you have an attic, you’ll want blow in. If you don’t have an attic, then you’d be looking at open or closed cell. Both have comparable R-values.

What’s been your biggest struggle?
Finding people who want to work.

What are the top three skills needed to be a master in your industry?
Dedication, common sense, and good work ethic

What are three words that best describe your business?
Quality, dedicated, reliable.

Any advice for those just getting started?
Don’t cut corners. It will come back to bite you.

What is your favorite way to unwind?
Hanging out with family.

What are you most thankful for in business?
Having jobs to continue working.
