The Southside Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with the Bach Community Chorale, presents the Bach Mass in B minor in its second concert on Friday, April 21st, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. The Bach Community Chorale is part of the esteemed Vox Nova ensemble from Columbia. The Mass brims with Bach’s deepest spiritual convictions and is not often performed because of its sheer scale. The concert will be performed in the beautiful sanctuary of Central United Church of Christ in the historic Southside/Old Munichburg neighborhood of Jefferson City. The orchestra features the finest classical musicians in Jefferson City and Columbia and is directed by Dr. Patrick Clark. Please join us for an evening of awe-inspiring and moving music. The Southside Philharmonic is an Arts Outreach of Central United Church of Christ.
