The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors our first responders for the daily sacrifices they are willing to make to keep us safe.
The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
The goal of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to continue Stephen’s legacy by supporting our nation’s first responders and service members. The Smart Home Program, constructs specially adapted, technology-enabled homes for our most catastrophically injured service members. By the end of 2018, we will have constructed 66 of these fully-serviceable homes. From tragedy to hope, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is there for families of first responders that suffer insurmountable loss.
